It takes time finding the right apps to help you in every day tasks. It took me a very long time to figure out which apps were right for me. I would go through the app store and try out most of the apps out there to see if I could deal with the user interface every day. What I found is that I prefer very simple and clean apps that aren't confusing to use. The following are 5 useful apps I use daily:
1. Asana
Asana is an excellent task management tool. I use it everyday to keep track of all the things that I need to do, and I update it every week to map out all of the things I need to do for that week. It's one of my favourite apps. I love that it has a desktop version as well!
2. Wunderlist
Wunderlist is great to list things that you need to do. I tend to use this for more personal tasks, like creating grocery shopping list, movies to watch, books to read, music to listen to, places to go, etc.
3. Evernote
Evernote is a powerful note taking app. I love it because it also has a desktop version (and the web clipper browser extension has been a game changer for me). I use this specifically to plan out all of my blog posts and any written content that I have to create.
4. Canva
Canva is incredibly useful to create quick graphics on the go. There is also a desktop version available as well. I personally use this on my phone for some of my social media posts when I don't have access to Photoshop on my desktop computer.
5. Pinterest
A lot of people who have either planned a wedding or need to try out new recipes know what Pinterest is. While I found out about Pinterest when I got engaged to plan my wedding, I now use it to pin ideas and resources that I will find to be useful for my business. It's really handy to advertise your own blog posts and content as well.
